1. Kirstin, when you were born, like all homo sapiens, you had wings sprouting out of your back. Originally, you were born to the chief shamaness of the lightning bugs, in the back of a can of mountain dew. When you were sent to public school however, they clipped your wings! (this is common practice in public schools. then again, back in the day, so were beatings). They're struggling to grow back. You can feel whats left of them, if you're flexible enough. They're called shoulderblades. Unfortunately, the more the swamps of the world are drained, the more human the lightning bugs get. You're mother has completely transformed from a lightning bug shamaness to the comples lady she is today.
